Portrait of Charlie Taylor by JOHN GUERRERO STUDIO
Charlie Taylor is a New York–based visual artist working across hair, photography, and creative direction. From her private West Chelsea atelier, she collaborates with actors, creatives, and cultural figures across film, fashion, and the arts.
Originally trained at Vidal Sassoon, Taylor has spent more than two decades shaping image and character through hair and visual storytelling. Her work has appeared in publications including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Interview, and Document Journal.
Her collaborations span fashion, advertising, television, and film. She created the look for David Harbour as the Red Guardian in Black Widow and designed the haircut for Rebecca Hall in the psychological thriller Resurrection.
Taylor is the founder of Cool French Girl, an ongoing creative project exploring fashion, beauty, vintage culture, and everyday elegance through a contemporary lens.
She lives in Manhattan with her three American Bullies—Henry, George, and Minty.
